Our commitment
SAMPLE TEXT™, a sole trader established in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates Memory Clone and is committed to making memoryclone.com and the Memory Clone Windows app accessible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the principles of the UK Equality Act 2010 and the European Accessibility Act.
Conformance status
Memory Clone is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: some parts do not yet fully meet the standard. This assessment is a self-assessment by our team; it has not yet been verified by an independent auditor.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with headings, landmarks and a logical reading order; the page language is declared.
- Visible keyboard focus, keyboard-operable menus, dialogs and legal pages, and a table of contents with skip-to-section links on long documents.
- High-contrast dark theme, text that can be zoomed to 200% without loss of content, and support for the reduced-motion and increased-contrast preferences of your system.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and accessible names for buttons and form fields.
- Printable, plain-language versions of every legal document.
Known limitations
- Videos: some promotional videos do not yet have captions or transcripts.
- Windows app: some dialogs and status messages are not yet fully announced to screen readers, and a few custom controls need better keyboard support. We are fixing these in upcoming releases.
- Animations and decorative effects on some marketing pages may be distracting; they respect the reduced-motion setting where implemented.
- Third-party services: Stripe Checkout and Google sign-in are provided by those companies and follow their own accessibility commitments.
Alternative ways to get help
If any part of Memory Clone is hard to use, we will help in another way: we can explain a page by email, provide documents in another format, walk you through purchases or account changes, and handle privacy requests by email instead of forms.
Feedback and contact
Tell us about any barrier at contact@memoryclone.com, including the page or app screen, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to fix or offer an alternative as soon as we can.
If you are not satisfied with our response, in the UK you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS); in the EU, your national enforcement body for accessibility.
