What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and the files an app keeps on your computer. The law (such as the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the EU ePrivacy rules) allows cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you asked for without consent; other cookies need your consent. Memory Clone uses only strictly necessary ones.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. This sets no cookies, but your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google to download the font files.
Storage in the Windows app
The app does not use cookies for tracking. It stores what it needs in your Windows user profile: your workspace (imported material, memory index, clones and chats), app settings, and your sign-in session, which is protected with Windows data protection so only your Windows account can read it. You can delete clones and their data in the app; signing out removes the stored session.
What we do not use
No Google Analytics or other analytics, no advertising or retargeting cookies, no social media pixels, no session recording and no fingerprinting. If we ever want to add optional analytics, we will ask for your consent first, with an equally easy way to refuse, and update this notice.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, blocking them will stop sign-in, the profile page and checkout from working. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals are respected by default, since we do no tracking that they would affect.
